Web Design Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Work
Orange RND Pte Ltd (“we”, “our”, or “the Company”) agrees to provide the Client with web design and hosting services which may include:

  • Custom web page design
  • Basic copywriting
  • Domain or subdomain setup (e.g., yourbrand.page.promo)
  • Hosting and maintenance
  • Updates upon request (as per selected package)

2. Use of Subdomains Under Our Main Domain

Clients who opt for a subdomain (e.g., yourbrand.promo.page) acknowledge:

  • The subdomain is part of a shared domain system fully owned and managed by Orange RND Pte Ltd.
  • The subdomain is provided as part of a service package and is not a separate domain registration.
  • The subdomain remains under the technical and administrative control of Orange RND Pte Ltd.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or remove any subdomain in the event of non-payment, breach of terms, or unlawful activity.

3. Content Ownership & Responsibility

  • All content (text, images, business details) provided by the Client must be accurate, lawful, and not infringe upon any copyright or trademark.
  • The Client remains fully responsible for all business-related claims, promotions, or representations made on their assigned webpage.
  • Orange RND Pte Ltd reserves the right to reject or request revisions to any content that is inappropriate, misleading, or in violation of Singapore laws.

4. Compliance with SGNIC Acceptable Use Policy

Orange RND Pte Ltd complies with the SGNIC Acceptable Use Policy for Registrants (AUPT) as outlined here:

All websites and subdomains created by us:

  • Must not be used for illegal activities
  • Must not misrepresent businesses or services
  • Must adhere to regulations and laws of Singapore
  • Are intended only for registered and verified Singapore-based businesses

Clients must also ensure their use of the subdomain and content complies with this policy. Violation of the AUPT may result in immediate suspension or removal of the site or subdomain without refund.

5. Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required before work begins.
  • Remaining 50% is due upon project handover or launch.
  • Ongoing maintenance or updates (if applicable) are billed based on agreed packages or hourly rates.
  • Projects below SGD 200.00 Full Payment is required

6. Service Duration and Termination

  • Subdomain usage is typically offered on a 1-year renewable basis, subject to service agreement.
  • Either party may terminate the agreement with 14 days’ notice.
  • In the event of termination, all content will be returned upon request (except domain control, which remains with the company if it is a subdomain).
  • No refunds will be issued for early termination unless agreed upon in writing.

7. Limitation of Liability

Orange RND Pte Ltd shall not be held liable for:

  • Any loss or damages due to downtime, domain disputes, or client content errors
  • Any misuse of the website by third parties
  • Legal claims resulting from the Client’s business operations

 

8. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

9. Agreement Acceptance

By proceeding with the web design service, the Client agrees to all the above terms. A signed agreement or confirmation email shall constitute acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
